1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AgShared, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

AgShared is an agricultural decision support platform that provides:

  • An AI-powered chat copilot for agronomic questions.
  • Premium reports including equipment valuations, land valuations, crop insurance analysis, and season budgets.
  • Enterprise tools and API access for partners and developers.

Our data is sourced from USDA, NOAA, university extension research, market listings, and other publicly available agricultural data sets.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • Each person may maintain only one account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Chat subscription: $19/month for unlimited conversations and saved history.
  • Premium reports: One-time purchase, priced at $19.99–$29.99 per report.
  • Enterprise: Custom pricing per separate agreement.
  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Refund policy: Premium reports are non-refundable once generated. Chat subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; you retain access through the end of your current billing period.

5. Important Disclaimers

AgShared provides informational data only.

Our platform is not a substitute for professional agronomic, financial, legal, or insurance advice.

AgShared is not a licensed appraiser, crop consultant, insurance agent, financial advisor, or real estate professional.

  • Equipment valuations are estimates based on market data and are not certified appraisals.
  • Land valuations use public data and are not formal appraisals.
  • Crop insurance analysis is educational in nature — always consult your agent for binding decisions.

We are not responsible for farming, financial, or business decisions made based on our data or recommendations.

While we use official government sources and university research, we cannot guarantee 100% data accuracy at all times.

6. Intellectual Property

  • AgShared owns the platform, branding, and proprietary algorithms.
  • You own your farm data and the reports generated for you.
  • You may print and share your reports for personal or business use.
  • You may not resell reports or API data without written authorization from AgShared.

7. Enterprise / API Terms

  • API access is governed by a separate agreement and applicable rate limits.
  • You may not redistribute raw data feeds obtained through the API.
  • Widget partners must display required AgShared attributions.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
  • Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity.
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI models or proprietary algorithms.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • AgShared’s total liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the prior 12 months.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • We are not liable for decisions you make based on our data, recommendations, or reports.

10. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
  • After account deletion, your generated reports remain accessible for 90 days.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [placeholder]. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.
